Graphic Card Review: Nvidia Geforce GTX 280

Over a year and a half ago a big monster was unleashed upon the gaming world. It promised unparalleled power and unscalable pleasures.

It took the world by storm and offered FPS gains unheard of. It was named Nvidia Geforce 8800GTX. And claimed the Graphic card throne instantly.

6 months later the slightly older brother 8800 ultra released. It had slightly higher clock speeds, but it was nothing revolutionary. Two and a half months ago amid much media and gamer frenzy the successor 9800GTX released. It performance for price turned out to be downright shameful. 8800GTX still ruled.

So now Nvidia releases a brand new architecture with two GPUs on the offering.. GTX 260 and GTX 280. Everyone is promised hige gains over the previous gen cards. So do these new cards deliver? Read on to find out
