White iPhone 3G Cracks like an Egg

If it wasn't already bad before, Apple iPhone 3G owners have found one more reason to be annoyed with their new toy.

Every time they place their white iphone 3G on a surface, a new crack seems to appear. And people do NOT want a product costing a cool $1975 that is highly susceptible to developing cracks for no apparent reason.

To add to the infinitely frustrating inexplicable voodoo, instead of appearing on certain parts of the plastic cover or near the edges, these cracks seem to be appearing ALL OVER the place.

And to add the sadistic cherry on top, apparently the black version of the iphone 3G is NOT affected. But its quite possible that its harder to spot small cracks against a black background.

More and more disgruntled owners are joining forum discussions to moan about their scarred iphone 3G's. Pictured below are two examples.

So if you own an iphone 3G, better check for ugly cracks... Apple might replace your unit with a brand new one. Though don't drag it against a floor on purpose and ask for an exchange.
