India makes shabby presentation at Olympics

Two days after we posted the 10 most fashionable women in Olympics, here is some very contrasting text. Slapdash Indian athletes painted a very sad picture in the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony.

Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore carried the tri-colour but the other male members strolled about in off-white Sherwanis.

The female members were especially a sore sight as they sported contrasting outfits making them look completely misfit for the event.

Tennis stars Sania Mirza and Sunitha Rao were attired in nearly blasphemous black trousers and practice jackets...to add to the disaster they went side by side with Delhi paddler Neha Aggarwal who wore a greenish saree.

And to pin up the nonsensical cherry on top, when congress president Sonia Gandhi stood up and waved to the athletes, they reciprocated the gesture.

It was quite a sloppy fashion statement by the Indians. Lets hope the medal booty content turns out to be less bunkum.
