Serial Terror Blasts in Ahmedabad

The city of Ahmedabad was rocked by 14 serial bomb blasts on Saturday Evening. At least 15 people were killed

and around 70 injured from the bomb blasts.

The explosions occurred at Maninagar, Isanpur, Narol circle, Bapunagar, Hatkeshwar and Sarangpur bridge, Sarkej and Odhav. The first blast occured at 6:45 PM in Maninagar which is the constituency of Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Most of thebombs were planted in Ahmadebad Muncipal Corporation Buses during the peak hours on Saturday. Gujarat Home Minister Amit Shah announced that the state has been put up on high alert and security has been beefed up across the state.

These serial bomb blasts and scenes of splattered blood and remains at the sites of bomb blasts have created a great panic among residents of Gujarat. Seven Blasts occured in Bengaluru two days ago which killed two and Gujarat soon followed. Most of the phone lines have been down as people tried to call their family to know about their well bring.
